…This small altar does not have any visible markings on it, being nearly plain. Although its edges are ornate and well-kept, you get the feeling that this altar is a relic from the past, part of history that refuses to die. In the center of the altar, there are eight indentations of varying size and shape. Judging from their angles, the indentations appear to be shaped like various gems. ~ SGALTAR in HVSXROAD.MSG
…The tapestries and paintings show popular events in the religious history of Fire. One mural in particular is a vivid portrayal of the Great Sundering. It shows a group of wizards and lords banded together around the perimeter of Avernus in defense of the Realm of Fire. Outnumbered by the other elements, the defender's eyes are turned in hope toward the skies, where Kalok has appeared to use his powers to sway the battle. Streams of multicolored light fly from hands of the god and strike the ground just west of the city. His divine powers tear the earth apart and form the huge canyon which still protects Fire from invasion to this very day. ~ SFTAPES1 in HVSXROAD.MSG
…The tapestries and murals portray various heros of the realm of Fire. On the left, one mural in particular stands out. It is a rendition of Alandra's famous confrontation with a famous warrior of Water. …The tapestries and murals all depict the fantastic events of the last century. One one tapestry is a portrayal of the twin brothers Oreth and Zoth battling a hydra. On another is a rendition of %s, all four elemental talismans raised into the air, two in each hand. ~ SFTAPES3 in HVSXROAD.MSG
…The wall depicts the last major battle with the Realm of Fire. The battle was fought at the shores of the Ocean, with the forces of Water holding Fire to the rocky beach. All the fighting shown is long range, with fireballs and cones of ice being hurled from each side. Water was as victorious as it has been in the past, powerful in its own element. ~ SWWALL3 in HVSXROAD.MSG
Gotik rasps: Earth learned of my plans… my betrayal… and destroyed me. It buried my castle, my people, under a mountain of rubble. My guilt became the foundation for their tomb. All those souls… lost under the whim of Earth. ~ EMAXGOT3 in HVSXROAD.MSG
