A theoretical book on magical energies mentions this spell. A magic user with enough spell and life energy can cast a spell which will drain on his or her magic and harm his health, but will transfer raw spell energy to another person. The book goes on in great detail about the theory is how this is accomplished, saying little more of practical value.
