Do you have the might to slay the powerful cloud dragons?
Can your magical powers pierce the protection around Zeus, the all-powerful?
Crossroads is a fantasy adventure game based in a far, far past when man was at one with the elements, and the elements were not at one with each other!
The four elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water are the sources of all magical energy. As a player in Crossroads, you choose one of the elements to follow.
You can practice with magic and become a deadly sorcerer, or use weapons and armor to become a fierce warrior.
Undecided? You can split magic and physical abilities as much as you want.

The original developer of Crossroads, Mike "Guile" Donnelly, and the new developer known as “Chase” have converted the original MajorBBS version of Crossroads of the Elements into a standalone server!
Mike "Guile" Donnelly, the original Crossroads programmer, released the original C/C++ source code for the MajorBBS module to Robert "Exile In Paradise" Murphey, Matt McGee, and "Chase" for porting into Java2. Robert and Chase are currently in phase 1 where the original Crossroads is being recreated as-is on new code. Phase 2 will extend the original game to incorporate new Realms, Monsters, Spells, Quests, Items, Treasures and more. Late 2006, Robert began converting the Crossroads source code into a pencil-and-paper tabletop role-playing game based on the D20 fantasy role-playing game rules. When the creators of the D20 rules changed the licensing to prevent conversion as software, Robert began writing the original Xroads MUD rules as their own standalone game, for the 3D Metaverse of OpenSimulator, OSgrid, and SecondLife.
